The Rickey Ranch is a working farm that is family owned and was established in 1863.  We have been a working farm for almost 150 years now and we hope to keep it going to see another 100 years.  The pumpkin patch was a dream at first, but we decided to make it come true in 2009.   Along with orchards and wine grapes, we discovered that Granite Bay is the perfect place to grow pumpkins big and small.  In 2011, Aaron Rickey took pumpkin growing to an extreme and not only did he produced pretty pumpkins, they reached to be as large as 800+ pounds!!!  Since 2009, we here at the Rickey Ranch are inspired by our community's interests, to bring a naturally educational and fun filled family environment that is as stress free as possible.  We hope you enjoy coming to our farm when we are open to the public every October, for many years to come.  

We have a wide variety of pumpkins & ghourds to choose from, as well as other crafty gift items and decorations.  Our 4th Annual Craft Fair will be held on the weekend of October 14 & 15, 2012.  This is always a very fun weekend long event with crafters from our family as well as our community.  Don't miss out on this one!!!

We have a tractor pulled hay ride, (yes we got the tractor fixed, sorry for the inconvenience last year folks), obstacles for children to play safely amongst, and ghourds growing on structures.  Giant marigolds and sunflowers are also a natural wonder you may have the pleasure of viewing along with our farm animals of all kinds.
